Decided to sell my 944 It is a Crimson red (or Malven red) with the part-leather cream and biege interior. I replaced cills and areas just rear of cills last year, including repair of the outer suspension mounting areas, full photo record available. I also replaced fuel lines at same time. I fully rustproofed all box sections of the car. This car has absolutely no rust, i am certain it has had no significant accidents and has all its original panels. I have spent much time underneath this car and the underside is in exceptional condition. I think the car has been resprayed at some stage, some years ago. It has no dents or rust at all in the bodywork, and, having tested it all over with a magnet, has no filler. The interior is very good, but drivers bolster has been badly repaired and there are one or two other small areas that could be improved. Mechanically, it has been faultless under my ownership....it is showing 167K miles, but had a £4.5K engine rebuild by Jaz at 90K. Clutch is uprated. Belts and tensionners done in mid 2014 6K miles ago. I fitted an S2 front end with foglight covers, but all original parts to convert back will come with car. It has a 968 steering wheel, and colour-coded 968 spoiler (which i removed but is a very easy job to refit). Very good tyres, stainless exhaust, newish battery. Has no rear wiper or tailgate release, clock doesn't work. Drives superbly and superb interior. Will post pics shortly. Price £5500 |
