Morning chaps, with the recent purchase of my 944 Turbo, I am now putting my 944 S up for sale. In a perfect world I would keep both, but I don't have the room to keep both parked off road - that and with two 944's and an S2000 as our family of cars, I really need a less precious/more practical third car for those camping trips, dump runs, etc!

So, here is a link to my ad on Pistonheads...

And a few pics..

Still available, had a local guy interested who was very happy with the car, but is on the fence about paying the extra for a Turbo!!

I'm open to sensible offers, would be nice to go to an enthusiast.

Just had an oil & filter change this weekend as well!!

Unfortunately circumstances have changed with the sale. I booked it in for an early MOT for peace of mind, but it has failed on nearside sill corrosion. The inspector has pushed a hole through on the lower edge of the outer sill. It also had advisories for the offside rear sill and play in lower steering uj.

I have no time to repair it myself at the moment and over last few days have developed a shoulder issue which is slowing me down altogether!

I have had a quote from a friend to do the repair work, but at the moment I can't drive the car to his garage with my shoulder issues.

So, the sale will be on hold until I have had it repaired, or, if anyone fancies buying the car as is with a bit of a reduction to cover repair costs or DIY repair - please get into contact.

According to the gov website, the existing MOT expiry date (December) stills stands, but if stopped could be prosecuted if thr vehicle was deemed unroadworthy. Sounds contradictory to me, but that is what the site says!

I have pictures of the corrosion for anyone interested, the majority on the underneath is very tidy, but there is now a small hole on the underside of the outer sill. View into B pillar vent looks clean.

I'm still off work with a shoulder injury, so for now I will offer to a forum member for £2500, if there is no futher interest at this price, then once I am back at work I will drop the car off to be repaired, then re-advertise once the work has been done.

Thanks for looking :)

Well done on the sale :bounce: , I am sure 'Paul' will be very happy with his purchase. Was it a local sale Andy?? Or has the car now gone off to more distant parts?
