I have nothing to do with this car and will not benefit from its sale but I thought I'd post it on here because someone might be interested in a cheap 928 S4
It for sale at a small local independent car dealer in Warrington. Parked at the back and the guy selling it knows nothing about Porsche. It's up for £4995 but I told him it not the desirable model and picked out a load of faults then told him he'd be lucky to get £4000 for it. His response was the car stood him at £3800 and he'd let it go for £4000.
I didn't think the car was too bad. I could see any rust ( it was raining though) the interior was tired but clean and all there, the original Cup 2s had obviously just been refurbed and the colour wasn't that bad.
It also only had 90k miles on the clock.
However the service history is very patchy after 2009 but good to that point and unfortunately there's a dent in the front wing. The roof also looks like it's faded and there's a few scratches that aren't deep and they've gone through the paint.
I thought it would make someone a good project and didn't look like it would take that much effort to make a good one.
