Sadly, the time has come and we are putting our 944 S2 Cab up for sale... we've had an offer accepted on our new house and we intend to start a family soon, so unfortunately the maths just doesn't work out for us to keep the car right now, which is a shame as we would certainly be keeping it if we could! * New water pump and both engine mounts, also in 2011
* calipers powder coated and serviced with new seals, bleed nipples and pistons last year (see pictures)
* Goodrich braided brake hoses fitted at the time
* Full 6000 mile service completed only in May last year!
* Engine coolant and brake fluid replaced at the same time
* Regular oil changes, which during our ownership have been yearly, including a proper engine flush!
* Dansk stainless steel sports exhaust and free flowing cat, fitted in September 2011
* The necessary cam chain and tensioner have been replaced, with new pads recently
* All four CV joints replaced (July 2012) ...expensive!
* Gearbox is perfect with NO whines or crunches - fluid replaced in July last year
* No sloppy gear stick associated with many 944s, having had its gear linkage replaced recently
* Lower wishbone arms replaced, along with rebuilt power steering rack...as such there are no rattles and the handling is lovely and tight!

* ProMAX Chip, K&N filter element and spark plugs (Feb 2012)
* Front anti-roll bar bushes replaced (Nov 2011)
* Power steering pump overhauled, with new seals (Aug 2011)
* New Bosch rotor arm (July 2011)
* Cam cover overhauled, including all gaskets (June 2011)
* New Sachs rear shock absorbers (June 2011)
* Battery (May 2011)
* Power steering oil cooler replaced (Apr 2011)
...Oh, and did I mention that the digital clock works perfectly!

* Central locking works from a recently fitted Sigma Thatcham Cat 1 Remote ALARM... Certificate also included for your insurance company.

Everything detailed above can be validated with the relevant paperwork and service stamps. Yes, there are cheaper 944s out there, but most will need significant work. Our car really is ready to be enjoyed without worrying, especially as summer approaches!
