As I've now got my 968 Sport, I really should sell my lovely old Golf - a cracking car for everyday use.
1995 Silver 16v 5 door (five door 16v's are quite rare).
Even rarer, aircon and sunroof, Recaro seats (mint) and leather steering wheel & gear lever.
A Japanese import a few years ago and I'm the second owner.
In fantastic condition with really 'tight' feel of a low mileage golf (I've had four mk 3 Gti's - my default car when I'm not driving a classic!). Bodywork is original and has absolutely no corrotion at all. No mods or silly aftermarket parts/alarms etc.
Reasonably quick with the 150bhp engine and still does 35+ mpg!
Only thing needed is a pair of front tyres soon.
There are cheaper ones out there but nothing this good for the price.
I haven't advertised it on Pistonheads or anywhere else yet.
£1500.
Stuart, Northampton.

Hopefully I'll get some added later (if there's enough light).

Looks a nice car.

Are you taking the 968 to PH Sunday Service at Silverstone this weekend?

Mate of mine said he was interested when I told him about it but didn't realise it was a 5 door. Personally already having a mk 5 3 door myself I would go for the 5 door every time, much more convenient.

Its a shame we are not in the market for another car as it looks a steal at that price.

Sorry my friend couldn't be persuaded :(

Good luck with the sale

Hi there,
No, no one's viewed it yet. I'm going to put new tyres on it, give it a service and MOT this week.

I know it's a long shot, since it's been a while, but is the car still for sale ?
