For sale my beloved 944 S2 cabby in the best colour cobolt blue. The car was purchased by me as a project having been around 944’s all my life I have found this one a joy to work on and the car mechanically is totally perfect in every sense. Listed below is all the work I have carried out and have all the receipts to back up my list in a thick long folder. The service history for the car is also 80% up to date and has been a well cared for car over the years I have to say this was a project for me to take up my time now being retired and I own another 944 so I can only drive one at a time so one has to go sadly. The car is ready for finishing here and there and is suffering some paint/rust issues around the wheel arches which are requiring attention I have tried to enclose a picture or two to show you this. So if you are a painter or don’t mind getting the paint issues sorted then you have the making’s of a fantastic car and as I have said the car wants for nothing mechanically and is totally perfect no rattles or noises and drives superbly and pulls away effortlessly . All belts and tensioners etc have been done a few hundred miles ago so it’s all been done and ready for the new owner to take it to the next level. The car will have a new MOT and Tax for the new owner as it will need nothing for an mot of that I am sure so will be ready to take away List of recent work over last 12/18 months Power steering rack and track rod ends and boots replaced Front hood seal replaced All cam belt and balance belt done (sounds perfect no rattles) Alternator belt and adjuster replaced Hand brake comp cable, springs, adjusters etc replaced Rear brake discs, pads and sensors replaced Full exhaust system and gaskets replaced Ignition relay replaced (common fault) Front wheel bearings replaced 4 tyres replaced less than 1000 miles ago New pedal rubbers Oil and oil filter replaced Distributor cap replaced Rotor arm replaced Air filter replaced Temp coolant sensor replaced. £ 4750 ono Mileage 137,000 miles Contact Pete Weston on 0131 440 2967 or leave a message.
