Yes - this really IS a Boxster S )- not a Cayman! It just looks almost exactly like a Cayman from the back.

This 3.2S Boxster special is believed to be one of less than about 10 in the UK. It is designed to be either a hardtop with the stunning fastback looks of the Cayman, or the convertible Boxster. It only takes two people about 30 minutes to remove the specially imported hardtop to get back to the Boxster (all parts are included - currently loving wrapped in bubble wrap). If you want the Boxster looks, just take this Zeintec hardtop off. If you want to go back to the Cayman look, put it back on. Full (and simple) instructions are included. It is the real Coxster ! (to misquote Jeremy Clarkson). These hardtops are no longer available, so this is genuinely a rare car.
This actual car was featured in Porsche and 911 world with a full-page spread, (with a letter from me the following month!). That edition said that this car was very good value at £20,000.
The car is the 2003 Model Year (i.e. updated specification).
The car is fully-loaded. The Zeintec hardtop is only made to order in South Africa and costs about £3,500 before painting. It is fully molded, and lined inside. The combined Sat nav / radio / CD / rear-facing cameras (with low light capability) USB connectivity / Bluetooth etc. cost c. £2,300 (invoice available). (There is even a TV option, but I am not sure if this is connected.) Note that the Sat Nav is (in my humble opinion) MUCH better than the standard Porsche one on these Boxsters (although the later Porsche Sat Navs are great). There are 19" alloy wheels colour coded to the car - however these could do with a re-refurbishment (cost c. £400). This is (in my opinion) the only bit of the car not up to standard.
Other extras include leather, heated seats, electric seats, silver trimming inside (the interiors of Boxsters and Caymans can look stark without this trimming, in my opinion).
This is my third Porsche and is only being sold to make way for (yet) another one. The car is of course well maintained and valetted regularly.
Any reasonable test, trial or inspection is very welcome from serious prospective purchasers.
Full(ish) MOT and 6 months Tax on the car. Maintained by a Porsche specialist.
