Hi :)

I would buy it, but will need a LOT more than 2 pictures....

Has it got an MOT ? what works and what doesnt ? What year is it ?

A lot of pictures of outside, inside, engine compartment and inside rear hatch...

Not interested in number plate by the way, which is worth nowhere near what you think.

So if you could do all the above and also where are you in the country for it to be viewed ?

You could at least have washed it lol, at the moment I would offer you around £200 for it...

All the best Brett :)

question one, no mot or tax

question two, will sort out the pictures

question three, number plate valued by Regtransfers.co.uk, written confirmation of the value

question four, you are right brett i could of washed it,these are photos from when i picked it up 18 months ago
from the building site

brett i know you have a lot of knowledge of the 928 just wondering if there is a 0 missing (piss take) from your offer,it was left in a barn for 9 years before i bought it as you can see in the back ground the building site, the interior seats need repairing/replacing,we have the engine running but it is miss firing, the body needs respray and electrical faults in seats, relays etc, just the run of the mill things you would expect for this aged of car that has stood for 9 years i mentioned in the discription of the car been a 1982, but you must off missed that at your excitment of getting this car for £200  and i am based in cheshire so cant see you intrested in a car that far from your self thanks for your intressed and good luck with your projects in the future

Hi :)

Nope I didnt miss a zero lol....for £2000 at the very least I would want an MOT ON IT...

I would buy any 928 at the right price as either a project to rebuild or to sell on, but without an MOT no 928 (of that age) is worth even £1000....

I would still like to see some current pictures to evaluate the amount of work (and cost) to get it roadworthy :)

Cheshire isnt a problem as if I bought it I would trailer it down to me...

All the best Brett :)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the registration plate is of little use without the vehicle having a current MOT etc.

Hi :)

Just had another thought...

If eventually you decided to break it for spares and sell the reg seperately, in which case you could well get your original outlay back, can I have dibs on the rear spoiler (the wing one) and the bonnet ?

All the best Brett :)

Hi Andrew :)

I dont think its quite as black and white as that.... from memory IF the car has had an MOT and TAX within the last year it can be sold or put on retention...I "think"

Fair point Brett "if the car has had an MOT and TAX within the last year it can be sold or put on retention" But the vehicle has been stored for the last 9years.............!! Having said that you take the body work and i'll take the reg. plate (if on retention) for a nominal amount! :)

your both right, it has been in a barn for the last nine years before i bought the car,i havnt had it mot or taxed,so it cant be put on retention,so if car was to be sold it would be full and not broke down, the wheels are worth at least £500 on there own,and with the engine running with only 75k on it aint even run as they are bullet proof as some people would say

Which wing are you after Brett? I count 3 on the back of this one

As a limited edition 928, it has got to be worth more than the norm (assuming that it is a genuine Strosek and not a copy).

What wheels is it wearing?

Hi :)

Lol , knowing me which do you think...heheh..the big f`off one lol :)

Looking at those rear aches and doors, it may well be an actual Strosek, or a very good copy....

If it had an MOT , as a Strosek, it would be worth SERIOUS money.... althougth limited to 928 owners who actually know what a Strosek is...

I would like to see the wheels as well, the rears look like 9s or 10s.

All the best Brett :)

Hi Brett

Does the one below the bumper count as a wing, in which case, it's 4!

Hi :)

Good point, I had not noticed that one, in which case I want number three (counting upwards) lol

All the best Brett :)

I think that the value in this car is tied up in the bodywork, the wheels and the interior. If the interior is shot, then this will have a big effect on the value. Also, the interior won't be to everybody's taste. I think that pictures of the inside are a bit of a must.

My opinion!!
