FOR SALE 924 TURBO PROJECT!!

For sale is a 1981 924 turbo, very solid shell. The car belongs to Graeme Bain who owns classic car repairs in Peebles (Scottish Borders) web http://www.classiccarrepairpeebles.co.uk/

The car has been owned by Graeme for the past 17 years and has never been on the road in his ownership as it was a project he was going to undertake but due to business demands over many years he is now selling the car in the sincere hope it will be graced back on the road by the next owner. The car was running well when he first purchased it but is unsure if it is running now, he simply does not have the time or inclination to continue the project. I have visited the car in his workshop and it is remarkably solid I was very surprised to see the car so solid and rot free!! The car is 98% complete only missing a door handle and a rear boot lip spoiler. The 924 Turbo external trim is present and correct, the interior is excellent no bolster or material splits and the dash has no splits either so all in all an excellent basis for a restoration for the ever enthusiast. There is a large amount of spares for the car ie spare dash, relays, bumpers and many other spares that will come with the car. It also benefits from new brakes all round a good exhaust also. The reg no is WGB 696W a Scottish car from birth. There is no History with the car sadly and it has covered around 100, 000 miles all in all.

Graeme is not wanting fortunes for the car only a new owner to take the project further and he does need his workshop space back soon as he is very busy with his restoration business. The car is therefore open to any reasonable and sensible offer if the car is not sold within the next few weeks it will go on ebay to the highest bidder but Graeme does want the car to go to an enthusiast so he we all have the chance to get a hold of it before that. The car is worth money for the shell alone and the engine was running very sweet prior to being laid up plus it has new brakes all round plus the spares etc.
