Unfortunately I'm looking at relocating to London and have been forced to part with S2, breaking my heart, but insurance is far too much and a car in London is really a total fallacy, especially a fast one.

So here we go ...

For those of you in Scotland who have seen it, you know what it's like. I am after £2500 considering all that I have spent on parts and garage work recently whoever gets it is getting a really really good bargain.

Black 1989 S2

I'd like to re-iterate, that the reason for sale is that I am moving from Scotland, to London (zone 1/2) and that a car is not practical there. This is not being sold due to any other reason than circumstance. I would in an ideal world keep the car, but due to my ex-girlfriends love of writing off other peoples cars whilst a named driver on my insurance, my insurance on the car would jump from £450 a year to £3000+ in the area I intend to locate in.

I hate insurers :(

May thanks.

This is a nice car (I have seen it in the flesh) and is, quite frankly, excellent value at that price. Can't believe it hasn't sold so far.

I am sorry to say the car went a couple of weeks ago now to a personal friend. I ended up parting with it for £1800. Which took into account what still needed done. I hope still come along to meets etc in the area, but will probably arrive in my new set of wheels, a nice Carlos Sainz celica gt4.

The biggest shame was that only the calipers needed a little attention on the s2 otherwise it drove perfectly as I had ploughed money into it. I added up the receipts and it was close to an average of 1.5k a month, so the new owner who you will no doubt meet has a stunning car which now requires tlc to get the final fun exterior and interior work done.
