Porsche 944 S2 • 1991 • manual • Gunmetal grey • Cream leather • 163,000 miles • Major service + belts 26.05.2025 • Fresh MOT

The time has come to pass on my 944 S2, bought 11 years ago from this very forum. It’s got a nearly full specialist service history and was my daily driver for the first sic years and has never let me down. The last four years I’ve had it garaged but it’s just had a major service with timing and balance belts carried out by John Holland at Unit Eleven Porsche (Warrington) and has an MOT until 26/05/2025 with only one advisory about the offside front brake pipe.

Good stuff

Major service + timing and balance belts: 26.05.2025 at 163,000 miles (Unit Eleven Porsche, Warrington)
MOT pass 26.05.2025; only advisory: offside front brake pipe
Starts cleanly, holds strong oil pressure, runs at correct temperature
V5C present; big history file and invoices included, I’ve used Tech 9 in Liverpool and Unit Eleven Warrington

Not so good stuff

Rust on front driver-side wheel arch
Shocks could do with replacing
Wheels need refurbishing
Brake calipers need reconditioning
Headlining is starting to sag and the interior could do with some TLC

Condition

Body: straight panels; paint shows well for age with noted arch rust
Interior: cream leather presents well for age; driver bolster shows expected wear
Underside: sills/jacking points photographed for transparency
It’s a lovely car that has never let me down and I’d like to hand it on to another enthusiast who will use it and give it the tlc it now needs

The car is near Aberystwyth (SY23 area) in Wales. I live out of the country but I’m here until the end of this week and then I can arrange viewings with a bit of notice.
