Cherished number now in the throes of being removed. Previous enquirers proven to be from the Clash (needed money but had none). Santa been and gone. Spring on the way. Here goes....

Porsche 993 Coupe 95(M), 92k, comprehensive service history £21,500

Comprehensive OPC & specialist service history - many stamps in the original service book & serviced for the last 6 years at Statller Porsche (Sheffield / UK). Whole 'tree'(!) of receipts, history, MOTs and general supporting info, 12k service conducted just 2,500m ago (at 89,797m)

TIPEC member since 2006, Peter Morgan inspection invited, great condition/specification. HPI clear (naturally)

• Tiptronic S gearbox
• Classic feisty 272 hp 3.6 engine with distinctive 'rumble'
• First registered 27th Jan 1995
• MOT to 21st October 2013
• Metallic Schwarz black coachwork
• 6xl classic grey leather upholstery
• Electric sliding sunroof – fully operational / no leaks
• Original 17 inch ‘Cup’ alloy wheels (restored)
• 2011 and still ‘as new’ Bridgestone Potenza S-02s all round
• Twin airbags and ABS
• Porsche PA100 alarm / immobiliser (2 sets of keys, 2 alarm fobs)
• Sony ‘period’ digital radio / cassette XR-C7220R
• Matching 10 disc CD autochanger & Sony remote control
• Trip computer
• Hella / Porsche white lens kit front and rear. New headlamp glasses 2012
• Rear wiper
• Top-tint windscreen
• Steering wheel mounted tiptronic controls
• Genuine Porsche overmats (black) over classic grey carpets

Comprehensive service history (as mentioned), with OPCs and independent specialists - stamped service book (the original), receipts, reference docs, old test certificates. Statller Porsche have cossetted this vehicle for me during my 6y of ownership and enjoyment. They certainly understand 993s to be fair. Very impressive

Excellent all-round unmolested condition, ie the mechanicals, the interior and the bodywork. Always 'flies' through the test.....only ever known it fail for tyres. AA/RAC, or Peter Morgan inspection not a problem. This vehicle NOT with the 993 achilles heel door check-strap nor the screen seal problems incidentally. NOT the tired uber high-mileage poor-spec vehicles that can be found elsewhere. Price checked against Pistonheads - and if you spend £3k less you seem to be able to buy a modified poorly-specced 120k example in a less-preferred colour/trim combo. Would like to declare the A/C as currently non-functioning. My personal opinion.....shared incidentally by one of the independent retailers (maybe 911 Virgin I don't just recall) is that you should always assume 993 A/C as non-functioning. I have never worried with it. There's a sunroof anyway of course....but for older vehicles maintaining A/C is like trying to catch a fart in a collander. If it works on another car that you find today....it won't work next autumn!!!!

This is a garaged 2nd car (summer Sunday 'toy') which I have owned and enjoyed for 6y. The car is registered to me at my home address on the V5

Hi

I appreciate this is an old post, but a friend of mine is looking to buy a 993.

Is yours still for sale?

Thanks,
David
