Hi Fellas

I'm involved with Trackaction-Online, we are a trackday enthusisasts website and we also run some of our own track and driftdays which are open to our members and other owners clubs. Our aim is to run good value events with a friendly club atmosphere and plenty of track time!

Next up, we will be running a driftday at Oulton Park in Febuary - (CLICK HERE FOR THE TIPEC THREAD!) but after that we're off to the awesome circuit at Cadwell Park on March 27th for a trackday :toothy7:

This will be an open pitlane event with limited numbers to ensure maximum tracktime and we are including free instruction for anyone that wants it!

For those that haven't had the pleasure, Cadwell is one of the very best circuits in the country with it's wide range of corners, cambers and gradients it's a mindblowing introduction to circuit driving for novices but still has plenty to keep us experienced trackmonkeys coming back for more :) . To see what the circuit looks like from behind the wheel, CLICK HERE!.

If that isn't enough to tempt you then let me say that we've agreed with Jim (hotblack944) that for TIPEC members the cost of this event is dropped from £150 to just £125 for the full day :salute: . Passengers can be signed in for £10 and extra drivers for £35.

If you'd like to come along or want to ask any questions please post up on here and we'll get the bookings and discounts sorted!

Cheers

Steve H

Sorry to see that none of you guys could make this one, I thought there would be lots of trackdayers on here :?:

We were really happy with how the day ran, a few red flags as per usual for a trackday but aside from that there were no queues and the track was dry all day :go: .

Here are a few photos from the day -

Our next trackday is at Mallory on Saturday Sept 5th so I'll be posting details up soon, if anyone fancies some car control training, we are also running a driftday at Oulton on May 9th so CLICK HERE and you can join in having some sideways practice

I'd love to track my '44. But it's my daily drive & if I stuff it. Thats it. Hard enough to justify running it at all at the moment. :|

Hi JJ

Nothing is risk free I'm afraid, not even road driving, but the casualty rate on a trackday is pretty low and the guys who do go off in a big way are usually the ones who are taking too many risks to get the last ounce of performance out of the car. If you did want to do something less risky, the driftday would be good for you; it's lower speed and gentler on the car but still great fun and could be useful practice in case it ever gets out of shape on the road.
