Although Porsche did not win overall in 2014 I am sure that the factory learned a great deal and this will them to compete for the overall win. With renewed interest from Factory teams from Nissan and Lotus together with rumours of a return from Ferrari 2015 could be the year to attend particularly if you have never experienced the fantastic atmosphere of Le Mans.

Last year we had representatives from Porsche Clubs in Australia, America ,Denmark, Holland and Germany and would be pleased to see Tipec join the Village this year.

Having a totally secure site means that your pride and joy is totally safe and having a scheduled minibus service operations throughout the weekend means that unless you want to use your car then it can remain secure.

It would be great to have Tipec join us this year and we can guarantee that you will not be disappointed and if you want to keep up to date on all things Le Mans then check out our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/lemansv ... thecurves/

Interest this year is much higher than last year and a number of the popular Grandstands have already sold out even before the tickets go on sale in November.

Have a great rest of the year and have fun.

How do grandstands sell-out if the tickets are not on sale?

In answer to the question about Grandstand tickets :

The ACO allocate tickets to all of the official agents who already have reservations based on previous years, they are given their allocation in advance of ticket sales opening on the website, they will also have asked for an increased allocation if reservations were higher than 2014. Last year the ACO built another Grandstand to deal with the demand.

Tickets for 2015 went on sale to ACO members today and already some of the popular grandstands and public campsites were not available.

It is possible that some of the agents return tickets if they cannot sell them so there may well be some tickets available nearer the event, I have in the past bought tickets on the Test weekend two weeks before the 24 Hours.

I hope that this satisfactorily answer your question but would be more than pleased to give a more detailed explanation if required.

Porsche 919 LMP1 wins in Brazil but Mark Webber suffers horrific crash.

It is great to have a win in the first season and this looks promising as we enter the 2015 WEC season.

Following negotiations with the ACO we are delighted to announce that from this year we will have trackside viewing and camping.

This will add a new dimension to camping at Village on the Curves and makes us one of the only private campsites with this unique view.
