Sunday 24th August was the annual Wings and Wheels show at Dunsfold (of Top Gear Fame). With displays of military and civil aircraft as well as record breaking cars and car clubs in attendance, the show raises money for local charities. A select number of cars and motor bikes are invited to take a run down the runway as a display to the public. Thanks to the hard work of Keith Funnell, 12 of the South East TIPEC region members were invited to display their cars and participate in the runway run. We shared display and runway time with a similar number of PCGB members. We all had a great day, our thanks go to Keith for organising the event. I've posted a selection of photos that Rob and I took on the day, more words are bound to appear in a future copy of AT. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And for those of you that wanted to see some 'Wings' as well as some 'Wheels'... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I meant to show this, stolen from another forum. We really must try harder! Anyone with the skills to make Porsche/TIPEC cookie cutters?

Excellent pics especially the Stig's brother in the Boxster. Weird looking 747 in the background of the last pic was apparently modified when it appeared in the Bond film Casino Royale. It had no engines, so instead of bolting 4 seperate engines to it, they put 2 sets of 2 to make it look like a 747/B52 hybrid (I really must get out more). I think I have a cookie recipe containing some recreational drugs, I just need to work out how to put the dot above the i in tipec, but after a few cookies, who cares? ![]() |
