Hi
I've only just joined Tipec and would really like to go to the Silvestone Classic event.

I know I'm too late for the bogoff offer but would still like to meet up with the other club members.

Will I still be able to get an infield pass

Just over 4 weeks to go now, sadly if you haven't already sorted out tickets, you've missed all Early Bird discounts but it's still worth coming along.
Just be aware that tickets ARE NOT available on the day !

For ticket prices and bookings see Silverstone Classic Tickets

A Little something to wet the appetite :D

I will share where our pitch is in a couple of weeks. Hopefully we are in the same spot as last year. :)

How far is it from the woodlands camp site?

No idea as we don't know where our pitch is yet.

Fair enough. I thought all the clubs would be in the same area. Guess it's not that simple.

Car clubs are spread out all over the infield, with 4000+ cars to fit in we could be anywhere.

Wow! Had no idea it was that large. I can see why it was such a stupid question now.

There is transport to the campsite though, it's far to far to walk.
There will be a few of us camping from Thursday

The campsite isn't close, they run transport from the main entrance I believe.
However, if you car is on the infield parking, you just drive it back each night, unless you've had a few beers while watching the bands :drunken:

I certainly intend to have a couple while the bands play. Should be a fun stagger back!

You can buy normal admission tickets and come and visit us on the club stand. Silverstone stopped selling car club tickets and infield passes on May 31st. So the answer to "Will I still be able to get an infield pass" for your car is "no".

Hi there,

I have a weekend ticket with infield parking. I'm just wondering if I can leave my car infield the whole weekend. I'm camping across the road and want to be able to enjoy a beverage or two!!

Looking forward to it.

No issue with you leaving the car all weekend.

Please wait for us to arrive, I should be there by 08:00 each morning. We will then arrange the cars in a display, in the past cars have been parked like they have been abandoned.

Has anyone received their tickets and car passes yet?

They usually send them out 2 weeks before the event, so back end of next week I would imagine.
