Thanks very much TIPEC and all of your members who supported the day.
I will post up here the amount of money we raised this year, as soon as Tracy of Chestnut Tree House lets me know the total.
Here is the Virgin Money webpage, but the raffle money and donations made into the buckets on the day are not yet included (this will go into the 'offline funding' sub-total on the webpage.

Thanks for the raffle prizes - (it's reminded me to renew my membership!!!) I think we sold over 1000 raffle-tickets this year!
I will echo the point raised above - I had so much feedback on keeping it a totally informal day, and not let it grow too much - we will do our utmost.
I think with 115 cars on the grid for the Parade Lap this year, we have probably reached capacity for that!
Thanks again - Jonathan, Tony and Andrew

Sean - would you please send me a high res version of the 930 spitting flames? We might be able to sell the driver the photo and raise more funds!!
Over the next few weeks, our official photography team will be posting their many many photos of the day on the Club Carrera webite, where high-res versions will be available in exchange for a small donation direct to the Hospice!
Here is the 2015 gallery to whet your appetite - the 2016 photos will appear as a new link from the same 'Galleries' tab.

Re: 4th Annual Goodwood Charity Day Saturday 15th October
Another great day chaps,
I spoke with Tony and i think we agree it's now up to a good number. Any more and parking would be a problem.
As a club, it was a good day with members coming along from quite a few regions. There are so many nice routes in to Goodwood, which makes the journey in very enjoyable
We had a lot of interest from potential new members, just as we did last year. We hope to see a few of you down at your local regions soon.
Luckily we got packed up just before the rain, many thanks to Dan and Angela for their help with this.

...and a big thanks to Eddie Bennett at Silvertune Christchurch who donated one of the raffle-prizes - a service of some kind.... I can't remember the details as I had a few tiny matters to attend to

A pleasure, we need to sort out Simply Porsche at Beaulieu next year. I will confirm with you when we have firmed everything up with the venue.Orangecurry wrote:Thanks very much TIPEC and all of your members who supported the day.

Always difficult when an event gathers momentum to keep it informal. We can drum up some manpower to help, if you need some support next year.I will echo the point raised above - I had so much feedback on keeping it a totally informal day, and not let it grow too much - we will do our utmost.

Thanks Sean - I think we will need to revise the Parade Lap (after a couple of small incidents) so we might well ask for some help at lunchtime just to to control the cars going onto the grid.
Oh and don't worry about the green-flame-spitting photo - John Rampton (our official photographer) caught it!
We'll post up a link to the full photo spread as soon as John is happy with it

Re: 4th Annual Goodwood Charity Day Saturday 15th October
Well what a fantastic day that was ,thank you to everyone that turned up or just donated
Yes we were a tad under on manpower on the day buy it's always a learning curve
Today at the last count we have just about covered the cost of paying for another sponsor day at Chestnut Tree Hospice
We have some fresh ideas to bounce around for next years day ,so it should be even better
Regards Clinchy, the bloke in the white boiler suit
