Just a quick update to everyone. This month has been a traumatic month - after a brilliant TIPEC track day at Curborough which I shared with one of my customers in his turbo'd Audi S2 and my 928 S4. We enjoyed over 26 laps in both cars and had an amazing time even though it was raining. Unfortunately after lunch and another mad rain storm the 27th lap proved disastrous - all 4 wheels locked and I slid off the track into an embankment - why do they put those there....and why should I find the only on on the track!
You can see a photo of the "Track-Off" here:-

After several phone calls and discussions about finding a jig and getting it straightened again - without the help of insurance of course - I trailer'd it down to Paul Anderson for the professional verdict. He was initially positive about resurrecting it and getting her straight, but after some more investigation it seemed that she was too far gone for economic salvage & restoration. So with a lot of Help from Paul he was able to find me a replacement 928 S4 and we did a deal. So I am now back in 928 ownership after 4 weeks.
Have to say Paul Anderson is a great guy and without his help I wouldn't be back behind a 928 so quickly - can't thank the guy enough for his help & dedication to 928 owners!
I picked my new 1988 Black Auto 928 S4 up last week and already Paul told me that my S4 engine was helping a GTS owner as a temp loan whilst his GTS engine is out looking to be repaired - so my old girl lives on in spirit - anyone on the list???
Here are some photo's of my new Black 928 S4 if you are interested.
