At the TIPEC meeting last night and it was mentioned that for the first time the 928's in the car park out numbered the 944's. Then it was pointed out that it was 2 to 1.

Do the 928's out number the 944's at any other TIPEC meeting?

Central have had more 928s than 944s on the car park too, I have jokingly called it the 928 club

Southern Region have been known to have more 928's in the car park than ANY other Porsche.... I suppose it's just a sign of good taste :D

Only one in my group who regularly turns up. I see a few others around in the Kent area though, but lots of 944s

As a ratio, we usually spend 50% of the meeting out in the carpark, even in the rain. It is nice to see all the cars lined up. I find it hard to choose what to poke about in, being an old timer I like classics. I'm also a gadget lover and like the technology in the new 911's. The younger guys look at the modified stuff too. Pretty good mix all in.

No,we used to see one about 3 or 4 years ago.Regular attendees at our monthly get togethers(we dont call them meetings as it sounds too formal and I think some people may feel that they will be asked to get more involved than they wish to) are 3X996 turbos,1X997GT3,2XCaymans,1X Boxster,2X993 c2,3X 911 IB,about 5 or 6 944 two of which are RED,the fastest colour! .Occasionally we see a 996 c2 and a couple more 944s.Quite an even spread between old and new really. :)
