Well I've done it now, there is no going back. I just bought 1991 928 S4. :D Blue with cream leather interior. It is coming fro Horsham on a trailer next week, but I'm on holiday so I'll not see her. It has been maintained @ Addspeed in Horsham for the last 9 years. Im in @ the deepend here. Pictures and more information to follow.

P.S. Don't tell the wife.

I'm as worried about her as I am excited about the car coming. The car is big enouhg to live in, so I might try that.

Thank's Brett, I'm sure there will be loads of questions. How do I open the bonnet?

I have to buy Mrs Parry a handbag each time I do something to my car. Cost me £1000 last week, that's the handbag cost not the repair to the car

Well done on the 928 purchase I wish I could have one in addition to the 944 for the best of both worlds :D

I have been down that road, £1500 @ Loui Vitton  That was about 6 or 7 years ago. She has 2. It is the excuse I use for my purchases now. The handbags are still in the wrapper with the reciept from Cessars Place in Las Vegas. So it's my turn for a while. She will get a shot in the Porsches' but I cant use her hand bags, my socket set will not fit.

I can't believe I done it. I've always wanted one. Right time, right place and I couldn't resist. I need to cut off my internet for a while or I'm going to end up with a 968 next, Richy has put me in the mood for one.

Firstly congrats on the 928 purchase!
Secondly all this talk of four figure handbags is making me sweat! Mine has lots of handbags but most are sub £100 luckily.

Orla Kiely had a clearance sale few weeks ago so stocked up for a while and just don't mention Ebay  . Jim I just work the outlay into my yearly budget for servicing the car

Enjoy the new ride

Andy

Thanks Jim.

I got off lightly the other week and it only cost me £50 on my daughter, just so she wouldn't tell the wife about a purchase. Nearly doubled the price of my ratchet spanners.

I've been told that the car has been delivered :D but I'm still on holiday :( I should have pictures on Saturday when I get back, as long as my son hasn't taken it for a spin and put it in a ditch. :bounce:

Hi and welcome.

On the handbag front, my wife's a cheapy!! I just take her to a very well known high street merchandiser and tell her she can have any one she wants. After all, most are sub-£10 in Primarni. She goes away happy,

Enjoy the ride
