Post subject:  Thorney Island Drag Racing...UK RECORD TAKEN :)
Hi All :)

I will be Drag racing here http://www.modifiedmadness.co.uk/ next Sunday.

Although I am still testing my new REVO Nitrous system, I am hoping to run a low 13 or better and take Adrian Clarke's UK 1/4 mile record for 928`s.

At the moment during testing I am only running 300 hp of Nitrous but with one small alteration I "could" change to 1000 hp or more although I will only use whats needed to hopefully take the record...

Its a very good day out (I did it last year) and in aid of Help for Heroes, and it would be great to see any other 928 owners there :)

Thats a great charity. Too far south for me at the moment but all the best on the day. (Eco cars blown the crank seal.) Turn up the wick Blast the record!!! :bounce:

Hi All :)

Just to let you all know, I am all packed up ready to go early in the morning
(tools, race suit, helmet etc)

Have just refilled both my 15lb Nitrous bottles so will have plenty to run all
day if needed :)

Hopefully will be back posting tomorrow night with news of how it went....

After this record attempt, my next aim is 200 mph plus, which will have to be at Elvington or Bruntingthorpe.....IF they will let me run with my noise levels :( ...(120 to 130 db)

Hi All :)


Just got back from Thorney Island and my best time after a LOT of problems with my controllers electrics was......

13.035 @ 113.3 mph.... :)


Which is now the new 928 UK record :)

I could have carried on but I shredded the Aircon belt and the noise frightened the life out of me lol.....I thought I had burnt out a valve ...lol

So I decided discretion being the better part of valour, I would leave it at that :)
