Post subject:  snaped bolt in fuel distributor

hi i have taken the fuel distributor off cleaned it out and replaced when we started the engine there was fuel leaking from the fuel return/warm up regulator banjo/union bolt on the distributor we tighten it up a little more and the bolt snaped we have got the snapped thread out but has anyone got any ideas as to where i can purchase 1 local to the cheshire/liverpool area thanks

Your best bet is local Porsche dealer.

If you have a parts catalogue then give them p/n over phone and they can tell you if it's still available. Even if it has to come from Germany will only take 2-3 days and you pay nothing for shipping it over.

Looking at my copy of PET I can see a couple of unions which could be the one you need (I'm strictly a 32V man - know nothing about early 928 fuel system!). Both are showing a 0 price so they may be unavailable.

Let us know what happens.
