Hi Everyone, Finally managed to take the cylinder heads out, will send them for pressure testing and skimming soon. I need to clean the head gasket residue off the block, would Nitromorse do the job? Car-Plan do a gasket remover, has anyone used it before? I know I have to be extremely carefull with this so I'll try to avoid scraping the block with razor blades etc. Cheers, Dan |

Some of the gasket removers work, Practical Classics tested some a while ago & some made the job easier. I always use copious amounts of brake cleaner (buy in bulk from factors) & a selection of wood chisels & loads of patience. |
