Hi all,

Finally picked mine up after 6 weeks of waiting for the complete renewal of brake discs, calipers, pads, hoses and lines, Drive shafts (reconditioned), wheel bearings and CV Joints.
Stopped for some fuel on the way home and it wouldnt start. Got jumped and drove it home, but the bonnet wont close! Not had any issues up till now, but cant work out why it wont lock in place.
Anyone any ideas??
Thanks
Regards
Paul

Hi :)

Bonnet must need adjusting , I would guess they have taken it OFF totally for something and didnt mark it and have put it back on maladjusted....

Look for marks on the hinges that do not match how it is now...then release hinges and readjust...

All the best Brett :)

I am just a plank! The pull handle had stuck when I pulled it, so when pushed it back all was well!
In the panic of breaking down I did not engage brain!

Thanks
Regards
Paul

Glad you got your problem sorted - any idea why the car stop? - be careful using another vehicle for jump starting.

No ideas to be honest... it had been worked on off and on for 6 weeks in the workshop and they had been moving it about at times without issue.
My guess is (and hope) it had been started many times, but not given much opportunity to charge.
It has a brand new battery and was serviced at the same time.
I hope thats the end of it!

Fingers crossed,
Regards
Paul
