Fantastic 928! Who cares about replacing shocks and springs if it went for $8900 (£5400)?

I eBayed a stereo very similar to that from my first 1988 S4 yesterday.

Am always hugely impressed by the general condition level of US 928s. I know the climate is kind (esp in TX) but so many owners there seem to do a fantastic job of loooking after their cars, and there's a very strong 'wrenching' culture.

I know its part of the reason I will be emigrating there when I can!

I must admit that seeing 928's in america makes me more inclined to buy over there and import back to blighty. Lovely example

German purchased cars are always way better than their Britsh counter parts too.
Was recently chatting to an Italian 928 owner and he said that German examples were better than Italian ones too.
