The last episode has to be their worst ever but for the brief couple appearances of a Grand Prix S4 (minus rear spoiler) seen parked outside the workshop they were using (located in the Didcot,
Oxfordshire area)....anybody on the list own it????

We've just been talking about the latest episode in the Green Man and we all agreed it's getting worse. The new later time slot makes it easier to doze off, I was playing Galaxian on my Gameboy during the show.

Its getting pretty poor. It seems to me they are just trying to make themselves look as stupid as possible.
I think you can have fun but its gone too far recently.

Best thing they could do is get rid of Clarkson. Hammond and May are actually pretty good but influenced too much.

My 1p worth ....

Ever since Clarkson once refered to the 928 GTS as being a bit of 'Hefalump' he has been on my death list.

:x I'd be really pissed off if I was one of the poor unfortunates stuck behind one of their capers. It seems to have degenerated into a boy's jolly rather than a motoring programme. :(

It is often funny though. Did you see last weeks where they made an electric car? Makes a change from ordinary motoring programmes like Fifth Gear, where better drivers than you will ever be are razzing round in cars you'll never afford.
My wife's boss is rich and into cars, he races in the Ginetta challenge too, a few weeks ago they had a charity do at Donington, and he took his Ford GT40.
They hired Vicki Butler-Henderson from Fifth Gear, and she got in his GT and beat his best lap time in it, having never driven it before! He was gutted.

I suspect I’m on the side of the majority in TV-land in that I’d rather watch a boy’s jolly than a proper motoring programme. It’s telly for mainstream entertainment, with cars as a theme.

All telly is a bit crap nowadays. Top gear is about the only thing I regularly watch. Don't take it too seriously.

Oh my god GALAXIAN! My wife bought me a DS for chrimbo last year and as much as I like it I now realise that I am firmly stuck in the 80s as I don't like modern games as well as owning a 944, only listening to smiths/level 42/nik kershaw etc and slag off any modern bands especially rap music . Does anyone know if you can buy any retro games for the DS? My favourite was Phoenix

I loved everything about the 80's. I just wish I had as much now as I did then.
