Hi All,

After a lot of hard work I managed to get the Upper steering column bearing out and replaced it with a new one.
I then tried to replace the support shaft tube as mine was knackered. It will not fit between the bearing and the shaft! Which is a pretty major problem!

I am concerned about damaging the support tube and bearing now as have been hammering it in for a while and its not budging. It just won't slide down.

Any ideas anyone before I set fire to the thing! Should have been a simple job. Stupid me for thinking that.
