Hi I would appreciate some advice.
I don't know how the de-mist switch should work.
The book says it is a push pull switch but mine has no defined in or out it pushes in but
does not stay in. I bought a second hand replacement but this is the same.
Is this how it works or have I got two duff ones ? Thanks Adrian

If its like my GTS - with the 928 everything is complex and the car has two heated rear window settings.
Push for one (does not stay in) AND TURN for the second.

The idea was that the Push one is to quickly demist the window and the turn one is to keep it from fogging up again.

Mine both stopped working a few days ago.
I need to get the relay checked.

Stephen

Hi :)

Stephen is correct....

PUSH once and it seems to pop out again (as intended) and its on QUICK HIGH POWER demist...which lasts for 15 minutes...

TWIST to right (whether pushed in or not makes no difference) it stays twisted to right...and rear demister will stay on permanently until twisted back to left...

All the best Brett :)

what about the mirrors, should they heat on either position ? Mine seems to be on a lot longer than 15 mins... need to time it
