When you think about what people are paying for old Fords etc. I think the 928 seems like a bargin at all levels. I think it really one of the "buys" of the moment - you could buy E-type Jags for beer money once upon a time...

Hi Looking at "automatic bids" ...I would think bidder 8 is a fake...anyone bidding over £700 for that on its second day when bidding was £1....does not realise how many thousands it will cost to put that back on the road... or they are just jacking up the price..... All the best Brett

Hard to tell from the photos, but if the pasha interior is in good condition and the wheels are 16" teledials and the engine really is a runner then it's probably worth the final price for its parts value. It's a very sad state of affairs that many sound 928s, in far better condition than this one, are still worth more as parts than as a whole car

Most performance cars are worth more in bits these days to be honest. I reckon the 928 is finally beginning to be appreciated as a classic. |
