Rear wiper

Help needed please ,
I have a 92 928 and the problem I'm working on at the moment is the rear wiper will not stay connected to the triangular ish plate which is connected to the motor , it does 1 sweep of the window but then becomes disconnected and then goes even further right when the triangular plate comes around again . I've looked on you tube and the 928 forum but cannot find anything. Has anyone experience of this situation.
