Is there any way I can tell whether the tyre pressure monitoring thing (RDK?) has been disabled or not? (Without taking the car apart)

Thank you!

There should be an ECU under the instrument panel - If your RDK has been disabled it will either have been removed or disconnected and two of the pins will have been bridged together on the connector (from memory I can't remember which!)

Short of poking your head in footwell as Llewelyn suggests, you could just let a few psi out of a tyre and drive a few yards. If there’s no warning (flashing arrow in position of tyre with low pressure), then system is disabled.

Thanks both! I think I'm going to have my head in the footwell tomorrow anyway - replacing the window, wiper and sunroof switches - so I may as well have a poke around with the ECU as well!
