Post subject:  928 Parts Supplier

Hi All,

I'm looking for a UK based parts supplier for the work I'm doing to my 928.

Immediate problem part is some body trim but there be more bits soon I'm sure!

If anyone can recommend a supplier I Would be very grateful.

Many thanks.

For parts like trim, the best U.K. supplier will be OPC for new parts (and often surprisingly cheap).

Rose Passion in France is excellent alternative and sometimes slightly cheaper. I’m dreading 1 Jan after which delivery from Rose Passion will take longer and involves customs bureaucracy. Their online ordering is superb and parts-catalogue driven. OPCs are brilliantly helpful, but require a clunkier process with phone ordering. Delivery may be a couple of days earlier via OPC if the parts are in stock in Reading, otherwise they’ll fly over a 50p part for you from Stuttgart overnight!

You may find Design911 have the parts you need, but their depth of stock is not great for 928. If they don’t have the part they’ll be buying from OPC and adding their Mark-up. Nothing wrong with that, but OPC will cut out middle man.

There are 3 excellent US 928 specialists. There are no or negligible import costs beyond customs handling charge.

For less obscure parts (running gear, sensors etc) then Euro Car Parts/CarParts4Less and GSF are always worth checking first, especially if one of frequent sales are on.
