Very nice Ed. is this your first 928? If so what drew you to the model, and what do you think of her so far? |

Hi Always wanted one i love the dimensions and the design always thought it way ahead for it time. This is my 1st 928. This is a 3 speed auto and she cruises around very nicely. i like it as there is a lot of tinkering to be done and the car has more than its share of jobs to be getting on with. Currently looking at replacing discs and pads front and rear, possible new exhaust and a new brake booster servo. My only hobby so can justify the expense sort of! |

Grab the pads and discs from ECP or GSF while their xmas sales are on! If you miss those, then there are regular 40% or so sales on brake parts from both (or via carpartsforless which is ECP's discount online brand). ECP sells very nice Pagid stuff. You're right that these are very rewarding cars to work on. Phenomenal build and parts quality, even relative to its Porsche contemporaries. Cost seemed to be no object in the design. |
