Hi All :)

As some of you may know, my 928 is reasonably fast and you could eat your dinner off my engine, but I absolutely HATE doing bodywork...lol

So I have been talking about tidying up my tatty bodywork for a few years now, but never got around to having it done....

I have now decided to have the bodywork tided up (ally corrosion at bottom of doors, scratched bonnet, corrosion around filler cap, etc etc)

Then the guy doing it is going to wrap it in MIRROR wrap..... :)

I am going to start a Poll to see others views.

One of the reasons I am going for Mirror is that I do a fair number of shows for Charity (Help for Heroes mainly) and personally I think it will look better at the shows, and there is also a possibilty of a part in a TV show about 928`s this year....

Its also my daily driver, and I am such a quiet retiring type, i think it will suit it, and me :)

I think that it will look stunning but it might peel off at 200 MPH!!

One of the Cup cars was mirror wrapped and it looked good on track but tatty up close.

Personally I think you should go for Matt Black or dessert camouflage :)

Hi All :)

Just to let you know, the Mirror wrap will be going ahead in the next couple of weeks, and a customer of my computer company who happens to be a Pro Car photographer is interested in doing a Before/After shoot about it.... which is great as I am rubbish with a camera....

I will post up the pictures when I have them :)

Hi Lee :)

Rang the DVLA to ask...they said... the car colour is the car with all removable panels removed (doors, bonnet, hatch etc)

Therefore they do not need to be told as they consider "wraps" as a temporary measure like a sticker or graphic...

Even my insurance company (Adrian Flux) wont charge extra, they just said to let them know to update my documents...

If that pic was taken in the States that may actually bt "Mirror Chrome" paint...i know it exists, as I thought about having mine sprayed in it, years ago, but the company in the US would not sell the paint and wanted $20,000 to send a sprayer over once mine was all prepared by a a bodyshop... :(

And no 928 owner is EVER boring, we cannot be, as we are a superior type of being :) lol...
