Got to say I'm not convinced about the look, the quality never seems good enough for the mirror finish to me.

Hi All :)

Just to let you all know, the bodywork/wrapper guy Neil is starting the preparation next Monday and the car hopefully will be finished and ready for the Bournemouth Wheels show on the 24/25/26 May...

The Pro photographer came to do some BEFORE pics.... and as I am rubbish photographer (camera phone etc) I expected him to be there 5 minutes lol...

He spent over three HOURS taking pics, with things like umbrella things on stands and remote control flash things.... pretty interesting actually...lol

He will also take some during the prep and after its all finished...

Hi All :)

The wrapper (Neil) took this piccy today ... the wrap was put on the bonnet , then taken off again as it needed more preparation to get it perfect but it gives an idea of what it should look like when finished...sort of lol....

Hi All :)

Well its finished...sort of... lol

The material had some problems so several sections will need replacing but it WILL be at the Bournemouth Wheels show on Sunday and Monday , and its VERY shiny lol :)

Pics to follow in a few days when my Pro photographer friend takes them....

Hi All :)

I would also like some input on the wheels....

As Porsche wheels are ally they CANNOT be chromed....

Soooo I have two choices I think....

Either have them refurbed (they were overdue for that anyway) and then sprayed silver or as near to the wrap colour as I can...

OR refurbed and sprayed BLACK maybe to match the black spoliers front/rear etc... and if I do go black...shiny or matte ???

Any ideas or views welcome ???

They may have a chrome finish

Wow, this is better than expected. It kind of works where others in my opinion have failed. Must be the smoother, cleaner lines of the 928 v's some of the moderns angular shapes. Must be a blast to drive with everyone gawping. Fast and the Furious meets the sleepy south coast :D

What about hydro/aqua graphics dipping for the wheels

I did a little research on ally/chroming and apparently (although I may be wrong) there is a way of doing it but its very hard to do (some sort of chemical problem) and most companies refuse to do it on ally wheels...unless anyone know differently ?

Hi Steve :)

You wouldnt be so impressed close up as he need to replace several panels which didnt go on correctly (creases/bubbles etc) but it looks stunning from 10 feet lol...and even more stunning when its rolling :)

And EVERYONE looks at it from pavements/bus stops etc lol :)

Never heard of Hydro/aqua ??
