I feel I need the need to poke about a 928 and see how practical it might be for me and mine going forwards.
Is there a kind soul in my area with one happy to oblige - GT/GTS ideally but it doesn't really matter.
A passenger ride would be lovely :D
thanks
David

Paul Anderson in Stroud isn't that far from you and he specialises in servicing 928s. Might be worth seeing if he has anything for sale and you can go and look over it, plus anything he happens to be working on etc.

Hi David :)

Maybe too far for you but if you are ever near Bournemouth, you are more than welcome to drive mine and poke around etc :)

All the best Brett :)

Thanks. Stroud isn't far away, you're quite right. Might go over and see. I didn't think PA did sales?
Brett, thanks for the offer. I am in Bournemouth not infrequently so I might just take you up on that.
Cheers

David

ETA - meant to ask. Heated seats? Just a cost option? Do I assume they are like my 944 so all the heating elements and switches are in the seat so swopping them in and out is easy? I've seen 4 to 12 way electric options. Again is this just what was ordered when new and the loom will support any?

Sales aren't his main business but I'm sure I've heard of people on the 928uk list who have got their cars from or through him, so, since he's so close it's as good a place to start as any - might even be quicker to drop in rather than wait for him to answer the phone.

I'm not sure that Brett's 928 is a typical example  (but that doesn't mean you can't go and look at it).

No idea on the heated seats, sorry, but think they may have only been an option in later years?
