Hi all 928 lovers just bought another barn find and its a manual.First reg 11/08/88 in some paper work a Porsche chassis enquiry on fax paper hard to read faded can just make out some options L/S/D sport STS. Sport shock absorbers . 2 ANTRAG 517 83? . What have i bought cheers

A manual S4?

It's too early to be a GT and the chances of finding an SE in a barn are vanishingly small.

Why not post some more details and pictures?

No, say it ain't so? Really? Dear god in heaven, what a find........we need before, during and after pictures.........daily? Can we see it?

Please tell me you're not winding us up, this has really cheered me up. I've only ever seen one, it was red and the owner a bit of 928nut........see what I did there. :D

:D no its not a wind up . will get some pic on soon . White in colour full leather got to get it running been stood 8 yrs last run 18 months ago? How many are there sill on road that have not been turned in to race cars?

Congratulations on the SE. One of the best 928's to drive.
I have an SE in the USA and I know of some in Australia and New Zealand.

se's only came with half leather from the factory,although it could have have been changed at some point in the last 25 years.
wheels should look like the ones in the pic's
and should have no sunroof.
the colour is right as they only came in white,red,silver and black.

Drained petrol today four metal pipes on O/S are they all petrol pipes fuel supply and return .One has been joined with rubber hose.

Changed fuel filter today filled up with new petrol .Then found out petrol pump seized changed that and with pump relay bridged tried to fire up . Bad smell of petrol and injectors leaking . Need new seals Porsche very pricey . only Bosch injectors any help to get some at a good price cheers.
