Started the gts today.

Dash does nothing. No trip computer, clocks nothing. Never had any problem before. Maybe a poor connection or an earth somewhere?Any ideas.

Check the fuses. On my S4 it was fuse 25 that took most of the dash out. Not sure about the GTS

And when I say check them, I mean check them and double check them. I ran through the whole fuse box and thought they were ok. I then spent a week or so trying loads of other stuff with no joy. Then someone told me to go check fuse 25 again and I found it was bad. Must of missed it on the first sweep.

Are interior lights working? They are on same fuse as pod, also rear hatch release I believe so they will tell you if fuse ok before even groping in footwell!

The fault is on same circuit as door lights. When door open, the dash flickers but when closed ,nothing.

Wey hey, Fixed it. I was a bit worried for a bit there,
It turned out to be the fuse ,which looked visually absolutely fine when checked, was in fact broken. I just replaced it anyway and the dash is back. Fuse is definitely dodgy as I tested it.
It went to a Porsche indy and they cannot have even looked at it.
Alls well that ends well.
What threw me was the interior lights still worked which I thought was the same fuse, and the dash would flicker when the doors opened.
wish I had listened to Mike c in the first place.

Something odd here as the GTS interior lights are on same fuse (25) as dash.

When you opened door the instruments were obtaining power via ground through door pins, so i think the problem is with the ground for the pod.

If Fuse 25 was blown originally you would not have had any interior lights.
