Hi All :)

I am thinking of having my 928 wrapped in a Chrome wrap....

I seem to remember around 7 or 8 years ago that a big US paint company did a 928 in a Chrome paint ...I think ??

Anyone remember it or have any pictures of it please ?

Hi Andy :)

Lol...well "one" MUST have matching car and Nitrous bottles... both Chrome etc....

To be honest its cheaper to wrap than respray as well...

If I dont like it once done, I can always have it removed.

The corrosion around the petrol flap, he will sort out first... the bottom of the door is ally so he will DA that down before he wraps it....

928s are mostly aluminium so thats unlikely...hopefully... :)

Yup... front wings, bonnet, doors are ally, roof , rear hatch and rear quarters are galvanized steel, front and rear PUs are plastic....

Idea was for weight saving and 50/50 front rear balance.... mine still weighs 3800 lbs though lol...

Hi Brett. I recently saw a Jag XK8 in Chrome.Not keen myself but it was really attracting a lot of attention from passers by! :)

As I do a lot of shows with my huge Wizards of Nos Nitrous system (from Doncaster) , I thought it would look better...

And as a daily driver, I obviously NEED something noticeable lol...
