Hi there did they make an S4 manual in 1988 just had a viewing of one cup mirrors and wheels.How do you tell the difference between S4 or GT cheers all.

Yes they did make a manual 928 in 88 just before the GT came out in 89,if its an 88 car it could be a 928 sport also known as an se which only 42 were built and think they only came in silver,red and white.
The se/sport was a development car for the GT and very similar in spec but the s4 manual was a little softer suspension but still a great car.You should find all the model detail on 928.org

I nearly bought the red SE Phil sold to Roger Tyson. I think it's still in the country waiting for Roger to export it? They are a wee bit special and worth the money. I posted photos somewhere on here of it at a meeting we had, if you can find them. They didn't have cup wheels, they had the equevelant of a d90 wheel.

I have a 1987 white s4 manual which has the rare hinged spoiler and can vouch that its a great car : :D
