Looks like it has been in store since 2005 hence low miles & owners. They'll service it & do the belts before it goes. Some people value low miles, few owners so it will fetch a premium.

Hi Jim :)

I seriously doubt it will ever sell at that price..... its way above even a low mileage GTS that sold recently for 17k...

I also seriously doubt (as they are car dealers) they will do the cam belt and pump which are an absolute minimum before safe sale....

All the best Brett :)

Nice time machine!

But what is that weird aftermarket affair on left of the air pump filter?

If coolant has been left in for years that spells potential disaster.

As Brett implies there are a host of other issues for a 928 which has been left standing for such along period.

I would love to check this car out andassess true condition!

Hi Adrian :)

I would guess thats an aftermarket alarm (its roughly where mine is)...so much for originality..... And I would look very very carefully at the service history...those front seats dont look like low mileage to me... and they say the drivers bolster is worn at 21000 ????

All the best Brett :)

That is what they should be priced at in my opinion. 928s are undervalued!
17k for a low mileage gts. It cant have been manual then.

Hi
I think the 928 is grossly undervalued and their owners seem to talk down any potential rise in values You never hear any other supercar owners say that car will never sell at that price . They sit back and revel in the price of their cars going up and up. So i think we should be doing the same. You wouldn,t talk down the value of your house after an estate agent told you what its worth. So lets let these dealers ask 22k and if it sells it will help our cars values go up :D Rant over i am becoming a grumpy old man
Cheers Grahame

One year on and they seem to finally be getting to where they should be.

Still a bit to go in my opinion, especially manual cars.

Anyone noticed a big jump in asking prices recently?

I've been bored at work and compiled a spreadsheet of all 928s on Ebay, autotrader and pistonheads, deducting duplicates and a few that were POA and not including any project cars. The results, there are 19 928S the average milage is 87037 and the average asking price is £20539. Just looking at the S4 which I'm interested in there are 9 cars, average milage is 92991 and average asking price is £16781.

Good news for 928 owners. Not sure how fast they are shifting though.

Asking prices for manual cars are starting to take off a bit. I think they still have a way to go though. Manual GTS now all seem to be POA, so asking prices must be enough to induce a sharp intake of breath.
