For anyone interested, the new edition has a decent feature on the whole 928 range.., which I thought very odd, as they dont really do 928,s do they !!

I grabbed a copy and it's a good feature. Seems there is a gradual rise of appreciation of the 928, and prices of good examples appear to be firming up recently. It's opposite at Maranello, the Testarossa, is also on the rise lately. Big 80's supercars increasing in value & collectibility, whatever next ? :D

..., that,s good to know, about time mine started paying me back for 21 years of nurturing .

I noticed a read up somewhere re the Testarossa, personally I never liked the gigantic size/shape of them, reminding me very much of a Kit-car IMHO

each to his own - then again Sonny Crockett had a strange taste in cars & women
to be fair, both 928 and Testas are pretty special for the long trips

I'm sure a read somewhere that the Testarossa has an excessive warm-up time of about 20min before you could give it the beans or you risked damaging the engine.

It was used in Miami vice as un 'undercover' car.
