I have a pokentensioner on its way from 928srus. It replaces the old tensioner and removes the need for checking the tension of the belt. Didn't work out the costs exactly but at $377.50 it replaces the need to buy the tensioning tool, belt rollers and tensioner rebuild kit so I reckon it about pays for itself. Plus no need to check and retension the belt at later intervals.

Hi all ,,

After many evenings researching the rebuild parts, scouring the internet, Looking at American web-sites, emailing "Roger" several times and never getting reply's ,making notes, calling Independent Porsche parts suppliers in the UK and not getting my calls returned! Making more notes, Getting frustrated at not being able to get service parts that should be fairly easy to obtain,,I finally had a brainwave Why don't I call Porsche direct!!

GUESS WHAT ? ALL the parts I need in by Saturday and for less than thirty Bloody quid!

I don't know why I didn't think of calling them before Doh !

A lot of OPCs give us around 10% or better off bits as well!

Hi

OPC can be surprisingly cost effective on some parts, always worth a try! especially Reading. Regarding Roger...if its been in the last week you have been trying to contact him on of the very well known and liked guy's on Rennlist committed suicide last friday so that could be the reason
