Does anyone have a decent passenger side rear rub strip they want to sell, mines looking a bit tired now, does,nt matter what colour as I can spray, but it must,nt be miss shaped. Ken |

Hi Ken I think you would have a lot of trouble painting a rub strip because they are plastic coated foam and semi-flexible. You would need a specialist paint and bonding agent made to colour match. Very expensive for such a small component. I suggest with all the scrap yard 928's around at the moment it would be easier to find an exact match for the part you want unless it was a special order paint job? Ben |

Hi only need plastisiser coat to paint new parts. Once it has been painted in its life just prime and topcoat with solour to match your car. |

..., thanks for the tip Ben, but Iv,e painted these type strips before and as potdog says the right prep and your good to go, plasticisor scotch pad , prime , base, and clear ![]() Ken |
