Hi Mark

If you rotate the mirror body, i.e. like you were folding the mirror in to go into a tight garage space, you will see a bolt head hidden in the joint that goes down into the door.

Regards

Ben

Guys, i still have a problem with the mirror,
I have broken 2 or 3 parts inside, is it cheaper to get the parts (if i can get them)? or will the parts from the square mirrors fit ( think their called Flag mirrors)
Thanks for looking Mark

Teardrop mirror motors should look like this. >

Unfortunately the parts catalogue says they should still have a 928 part number [ 928 624 901 00 ] , so not sure a 996 part would be suitable. :( but you never know - how much do you want to spend to find out?

Flag mirror motors are completly different.

Ben

Ben, thank you for your quick answer :-) They do look the same, but theirs over 5 days left and no bidders £25 + i think £4 postage, so if they fit a good buy. I have messaged the guy, so lets hope theyre fit
