All booked up this morning for the Laon Classic - Circuit Historique 2012. Got a hotel just in the town but not in the centre. Is anoyone else from TIPEC regions going? I am making my own way down on the Eurotunnel if anyone else is going over maybe we can arrange a TIPEC or Porsche convoy. Steve |

This year Le Mans Classic is happening & I don't think any of us are brave enough to say to our missus "Another car orientated holiday this year dear"

Looking forward to it. HAve a mate who has done it twice now & he always raves about it. Well Just got back from our weekend at the Laon Historic Rallye. I would put this down as a must for anyone next year. My daughter ended up coming with me and we had an amazing weekend. It was the most amazing car event I have been to! Having clocked up over 1100 miles of enjoyable driving for the complete trip, I would recommend this weekend experience to anyone. Amazing driving through the French countryside in the Rallye on Saturday and then yesterday was amazing and exhilarating to take part in the round town drive in Laon. Great food, Great wine, excellent petrol-head weekend and gresceneryary and landscape. Weather was amazing too! Laon is absolutely brilliant and well worth the trip. My daughter says she wants to do it again next year - that says it all really. Weather was amazing. Drive down was brilliant. The 928 was well behaved and felt a thrill to dive. Easily the best time in the 928 to date! Looking at hotels & possibly a châteaux hire for next year which will be the 20th anniversary. I've done 3 or 4 or so but only last year with a Porsche. |
