In June / July I had a recon aircon compressor fitted by my garage, aircon working perfectly (still is) however a few days ago the compressor started to leak. took the car back to the garage, no problem we,ll send it back under warranty, I,ll still have to pay to have it taken off and the "new" one installed and re- gassed.
The garage got back in touch with ( Eurocarparts) to be told there are non in England and will have to be sourced from the re-conditioners ( where ever that might be ).
Now I,m on very good terms with my garage and dont want to spoil the relationship, but its now been eight days and no word about a replacement. I feel like ringing Europarts and trying to progress it, but am frightened of treading on toes ?
What do you think I should do, bearing in mind the road tax is up next week ? and did,nt intend taxing it .

Speak to your garage about your dilemma, suggest you keep the compressor your self when it arrives get a note from the garage that they will refit it for you, and wait until you put the car back on the road, assuming the 928 has a separate belt for the aircon, otherwise forget the foregoing :roll:

...., cheer,s Sam, well it,s developed quite a nice puddle under there now, and still no signs of a replacement compressor.., damn it !
