This is my 1987 S4. Wheels are soon to be replaced with refurbed originals.

Thanks. They'll be up for sale in a month or so. I'm picking up a set of original S4 wheels which I'm going to get refurbed and put some brand new rubber on. I want a totally original looking car. The only non-standard things on the car will be the X-pipe exhaust, a Blaupunkt Bremen stereo (I've yet to buy that) and I'd like to fit some form of remote central locking.

Looks lovely!

Are you changing the mirrors back to flags?

Previous owner had OPC change my S4 mirrors to teardrops at the same time as they converted 16” manhole cover to 17” Cup wheels (which you’ve discovered expands tyre choice greatly!). I’m also a fan of originality but the teardrops really suit the shape. Must admit that the flag mirrors I had on previous S4 gave better view though - they’re huge.

Hi all, here's mine - bought it a few weeks ago.

It's dirty! One of the things on the list to do is to have it detailed so it will look a lot better than this soon I hope! I also have a set of the original wheels which I plan to have refurbed and replace what's on there :)

Interesting colour that!

If you want to sell your existing wheels I'd buy them. I am looking for a set for my car.

Here's my Japanese import 91 LHD...

Thank you! For some reason, I can't see the pics of your car but I'm sure it looks fantastic! :D

I'm not sure why the pics aren't working! Did you change your wheels?

I'm getting quotes to refurbish the original slots at the moment; once they're done I'll put them on and see how I like them. Not sure what to do with the 'spare' set yet - I may put some winter tyres on one of the sets so I can just swap them over in the winter like I do with one of my other cars, but we'll see! I'll give you a shout if I decide to sell though :)

Aha! Yes if you decide to sell, I am interested. I've got GTS Cup wheels fitted at the mo but I like the look of the cup style yours has fitted...! I do also like the slots but can't help but think 17s suit the 90+ look better...
