 Post subject: Rear wiper blade

Hello all

Sorry for all the questions, does anyone know where i can buy a rear wiper blade, i need the whole thing ie blade and plastic bit not arm , its the one witch has a little metal pole to slot in, if that helps

I went to Halfrauds to buy one with no luck. They sell the right size but without the 'peg' bit that sticks out.

I doubt you can get them any more, so I'm just going to take the 'peg' of the old one and glue to the new one - should work. :bounce:

Got mine from OPC for £10. I don't think I've found something I needed that OPC didn't have? Bought a few things today, and got a great discount. Phone them and pay for it, they post it out next day free. :D

The "peg" on my '84 is a metal pin that is reusable - just remove it from the hole in the frame of the blade and put it in the new one, it doesn't need gluing as it's shaped to fit correctly. I used a standard Bosch wiper blade - you just have to use the "old-fashioned" kind that still have a metal frame with the hole in it for the peg to go through, not the newer aero design.

i have bought a normal 20" bosche blade and will re-use the pin :D (just found it on ground by car) phew
