You could maybe put a metal plate over the hole. Then you would have longer to find a replacement in good condition. |

The OEM mats cover most of the floor area so, unless the sides of the footwell are worn, they should cover the damage. |

Have you tried contacting a US firm to get just one, or use yours as a template and get someone local to make another. |

Hi Mark ![]() Good thinking...I have contacted Roger at 928RUS ..no reply as yet.... I was also thinking today about getting a local firm to copy it, but the problem with that is the rubber insert for heels....not sure if they could add that or not.... All the best Brett ![]() |

911perv usually comes up with things like this, but here goes. What about this?. I know they are expensive, but it would bring back the whole interior and you can sell the ones you don't need. There is a guy up here who can copy carpets for interior, he has done a good job on a TIPEC members car, so that would be a good choice. |

Hi All ![]() Just to let you all know, after a huge amount of hunting round, I finally found this American company who are highly regarded for making brand new custom 928 carpets or even complete sets and have ordered a drivers carpet in dark blue... It comes complete with the vinyl foot rest and slot for pedal and button fastening holes as original... http://www.classic9leathershop.com/ It cost me $159 plus $39 carriage...so all in a total of £120.37.. I will take some pics when I get it and post them here . All the best Brett ![]() |

Hi All ![]() Just to let you know the end to the story, I fitted the brand new carpet from the US today... Its a perfect fit and looks great. I got some new hold down buttons from the local OPC, which they had to order in from Germany at £1.60 for all 4 lol, thats 2 for each side. Weird if you think about it, no carpets available for any 928 but they have buttons lol ![]() I will add a picture when I get a minute, probably after the weekend as its Poole Quay this Friday and the big Sherborne Castle show on Sunday. All the best Brett ![]() |
